IP created normally through teaching and research which shall be owned by the institute. The ownership of all IP developed by Institute personnel in the course of or pursuant to Research and Development at the Institute, with Substantial Utilization of Institute Resources vests with the Institute. Joint ownership of IP will be considered where there is a MoU for the same.

The revenue sharing ratio between the inventor team and institute will be a fixed 70:30 in favor of the inventor team. IP protection costs will be part of the license revenue sharing agreement between institute and inventor(s). In case of industry partner commercializing the institute IP, the revenue sharing ratio will be fixed in the ratio of 50:30:20 for the inventor (s), industry partner and the institute.
